And yes, oh yes, there are many videos. (At one point, I mistook the camera for a phone? I think. You'll see.)

This happened to me at daycare one day. Unfortunately, my language skills are still a little too minimal for me to explain what happened. Mom first thought ringworm because I also had two circles on my arm, but when it quickly disappeared, she realized I had just been the victim of an unruly daycare peer. The world may never know... (I am completely fine now & Mom is not upset at the daycare. We understand kids sometimes scuffle.)

Then, there was Daddy's birthday.

I helped Dad with the presents, but missed dinner: roasted Cornish hen stuffed with garlic and herb butter, roasted purple potatoes & brussel sprouts with bacon & shallots. Mom assured me it was delicious.

And then, of course, there was Thanksgiving, which we celebrated here in the Deep South with my Aunt Kat. Observe the deliciousness.

Aunt Kat is a vegan (she eats NO animal products), so this was her "fake" meat dish. She declared it tasty, if more pork-like than turkey-like.

Speaking of vegan, Mom substituted soy and rice products for all the dairy in Bebe's Vegetable Casserole recipe, and it was perfect! Mom claimed it DIDN"T EVEN taste a bit different! Veganizing recipes, for the win! Mom also successfully made pumpkin pie with silken tofu instead of milk & eggs, and it too was amazing. Aunt Kat can join us for a holiday meal ANYTIME.
That's Cheez-its on Mom's side & Herb Vegetable Wheat Thins on Aunt Kat's side. (Mom says don't be scared of the bubbling; the soy milk just got a little zealous.)

Just as delicious & with half the calories! Win, win.

And also, Aunt Kat documented my intense love of applesauce.

I also discovered a love of "purkey."
